A word, if you wilL
We believe local news is stronger when it’s community-led and created through collaboration. Indiana Local News Guild seeks to protect what makes Mirror Indy, FPI News and Free Press Indiana great and ensure our organization fulfill its mission.
We got into this work because we want to make sure our neighbors have the local news they need. And the benefits we’ve found at Free Press Indiana are the reason we’re able to keep working in this field.
We want to ensure that these benefits — including affordable healthcare, paid time off, hybrid work schedule, parental leave and professional development funds — are here for us and those who have the privilege to work here for years to come.
We are part of The Indianapolis Newspaper Guild, TNG-CWA Local 34070, which also represents workers at the Indianapolis Star.
